Tompkins Logistics provides the technology, connectivity, visibility, analytics and orchestration layer across your logistics network. We do not select or contract with the underlying motor carriers, negotiate their rates, dispatch them or pay them. When brokerage or other regulated transportation services are required, those services are performed by the applicable authorized transportation provider.

Tompkins Logistics is designed to work across the network you already have including your carriers, transportation providers, warehouses and private fleet. You can also extend that network through providers available within the Tompkins ecosystem when additional capabilities or capacity are needed.

Tompkins can provide visibility into available options and support informed capacity sourcing using cost, service and performance data. The client retains approval authority, while the selected transportation provider manages the underlying carrier sourcing and transportation execution.

Tompkins orchestrates information, providers and workflows through its Platform. The applicable authorized transportation provider handles the underlying carrier relationship, including carrier selection, contracting and transportation execution.

Upon client request, Tompkins can facilitate consolidated billing across the solution, providing clients with a single invoice rather than separate administrative processes across multiple providers. Tompkins acts as the billing and administrative hub, while the underlying logistics services continue to be performed by the applicable providers.
